Hike for the Catskills is an opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Catskills while helping to protect critical Catskills habitats, keep our lands and waters wild (even at the most popular hiking destinations), and advocate for our communities and the Catskill Park.
This month-long event is meant for everyone! From complete beginners to expert-level hikers, all are welcome to register. Choose your own hiking goal based on your experience and availability.
The Catskill Center will host a variety of hiking events throughout the month all over the Catskills. There will be a kickoff event on Saturday, August 5th with two guided hikes and an after-party at West Kill Brewing. The month-long event closes out with a thank you celebration at our Catskills Visitor Center.
With your help, we hope to raise $15,000 to help us protect and preserve the Catskills. All proceeds go toward advancing the work of the Catskill Center.
Raise $250 or more for the Catskill Center and receive a T-shirt with the “hiking cat” artwork by Will Lytle, Thorneater Comics; raise $100 or more and receive a patch with the above artwork.
