A funny thing happened along the way to my husband and I settling in NY and enjoying our new home in the Catskills. He realized he had the opportunity to hike the Appalachian Trail, something we have both wanted to do probably since we first met almost 20 years ago. Well, now he has the chance, so we are going to run with it!

I have to admit I’m a bit jealous that he gets to go on this great adventure without me. However I don’t think I can take 6 months off after having less than a year under my belt at the Catskill Center’s Executive Director! So I expect to be handling a lot of the logistics of Moe’s hike and getting at least a monthly opportunity to do at least a few days worth of hiking with him as he trek’s north.
