Join me in supporting the Catskill Interpretive Center!

11040937_792228710860801_4495308731802587965_nRight now is a great opportunity to help the Catskill Interpretive Center by joining me in meeting the generous match that has been offered by a generous donation to help open, furnish and operate the Catskill Interpretive Center!

This is from the Catskill Center:

We’ve received a very generous challenge! Jim Infante of the Friends of the Catskill Interpretive Center will contribute $2,500 for furnishings, equipment and operations at the Catskill Interpretive Center if FIVE other individuals or groups of individuals commit to also contributing $2,500.  The Maurice D. Hinchey Catskill Interpretive Center is a unique partnership among government and private local nonprofits. The success of the Interpretive Center as the Gateway to the Catskills depends on your support.

As the Trail Conference’s Catskills representative and a board member of the Friends of the Catskill Interpretive Center, I have been working with the Catskill Center and a number of other operating partners to design, open and then operate the Catskill Interpretive Center.  The center will be opening this summer and will be operated by staff from the Trail Conference and a number of other organizations.  The Interpretive Center will become a welcome center for the entire Catskill Park and be a starting point for visitors to enjoy their adventures in the Catskill Park!

If you are interested in helping me by making a donation (any amount helps!), please contact me at jsenterman@nynjtc.org or 201.512.9348.  I would love to make a large donation to the Interpretive Center from the Trail Conference and our supporters to support this great effort in the Catskills!
